 ELA technology standards are suggestions made by the State of Florida. The purpose is to make up instructions and advisement for teachers and how to use technology relating to their grade. The document that is given has media ideas and different ways to use information, often technology. In the module, there are different ways to develop the class and build on technological skills. 

CPALMS is an educational tool for teachers. It is used to share certain lessons and environments that teachers can use to educate their kids. I have an interest in high school social studies and I found some great things. The database has lessons and other information that teachers can use. Specifically, timelines are all over the social sciences page on CPALMS. I would find specific material that can be relatable to my class. 

Internet searching can help students learn and narrow down questions and concerns. To be a good Internet searcher as a teacher, it helps you display knowledge of information to teachers. The introduction for the CPALMS helped out bring new ideas to a presentation. I think that something with how to make creative powerpoints. Google slides are very good but there is never any variation for teachers.

 This transition to online distance learning has been really difficult for me. The thing I like is how I do not have to commute for classes. I would not make the walk on campus between classes. I have multiple classes where there I would be late to class if I had to walk around campus. I do not like distance learning because there is a lack of human interaction on Zoom. As a teacher, I would definitely make my class start off on the Zoom by introducing and talking about a topic.  Open educational resources are tools that educators use to help show off. Blog Journal 10

 Data collection and surveys are important to understand what statistics show. I have seen teachers use this as a way of surveying the student's opinions. In High School Education there can be good ways of grading by using a rubric format as surveys. Asking students to rate a presentation and other things can help innovate the classroom and engage students.  I think it is very interesting to see the intentions of others in this class. I find the innovation of teaching special needs and younger students interesting because I do not deal with such things. As being a teacher interested in older grades, I think it is refreshing to read and understand other opinions and innovations.  The technology skill I want to know next would be maybe coding.
