 Data collection and surveys are important to understand what statistics show. I have seen teachers use this as a way of surveying the student's opinions. In High School Education there can be good ways of grading by using a rubric format as surveys. Asking students to rate a presentation and other things can help innovate the classroom and engage students.  I think it is very interesting to see the intentions of others in this class. I find the innovation of teaching special needs and younger students interesting because I do not deal with such things. As being a teacher interested in older grades, I think it is refreshing to read and understand other opinions and innovations.  The technology skill I want to know next would be maybe coding. I think there are other things more important to cover when it comes to education technology. I want there to be a lesson on how to make lesson plans aesthetically pleasing to look at.  This transition to online distance learning has been really difficult for me. The thing I like is how I do not have to commute for classes. I would not make the walk on campus between classes. I have multiple classes where there I would be late to class if I had to walk around campus. I do not like distance learning because there is a lack of human interaction on Zoom. As a teacher, I would definitely make my class start off on the Zoom by introducing and talking about a topic.  Open educational resources are tools that educators use to help show off. This link I attached goes over different organizational tools that can be inputed into lessons. I think it is important to open up the amount of varying resources in the classroom.  The PowerPoint assignments helped me reignite the skills I have with using PowerPoint.
